BOSTON (BRAIN) — Vittoria Industries North America (VINA) has added Catlike to its list of distributed brands. VINA will distribute Catlike helmets, shoes and glasses exclusively across the U.S.
Previously, Catlike was distributed by Hawley-Lambert.
“The alignment of Vittoria and Catlike brands makes perfect sense,” said EJ Riordan, president of Vittoria NA. “Both companies own their manufacturing, which allows for complete quality control. Both have been proven in the top echelon of racing, yet both offer diverse product lines that cater to a wide consumer base of cycling enthusiasts.”
Both brands have shown innovation in the use of Graphene technology, as it integrates into the cycling industry.
VINA will expand the Catlike offering, with five new helmet models for the 2017 season, expanding on the top-end Whisper line, in addition to the full range of shoes and glasses.
Spanish brand Catlike is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2016. The company, which sponsors several pro teams, was started by Pepe Del Ramo as a cycling helmet to sell in his store.
