Sure, I did 62 miles on Saturday, but I think I ”cooked” my legs more during tonight’s mtb ride than during those long miles on Saturday. Should make tomorrow night’s group ride pretty interesting.

Good ride, today. To make things interesting, my hubby took a dare from me and took his mtb (instead of his road bike) plus wore a backpack loaded down with all kinds of personal SAG stuff. Doing another organized ride tomorrow – my favorite of the year. Really pretty countryside. Except it’s an hour away from here. So, I have to get up early. DID you exercise today: Workout Accountabilabuddies! 1 week, 4 days agoI did a ”simple” 20 mile ride, today. Also a bit windy but not quite as bad. My legs had some unkind things to say at the start of the ride, but they felt better after 5 miles or so. Was glad to get outside!

If LBS sold legs, heart and lung packages they would sell out every time :)

DID you exercise today: Workout Accountabilabuddies! 1 week, 4 days agoDid 34 miles on my road bike yesterday…and 2544ft of climbing. Ouch. We didn’t originally plan to do that much climbing. We were looking to find roads that were flanked by lots of trees and therefore feel less wind. (The winds were pretty high, yesterday. Push my bike sideways a few times – eich.) Bike Wrench 1 week, 6 days agoMy average cadence is 85…still working on getting it higher. Of course, my cadence will go really high at certain times on a ride …and if a hill is truly wretched then, it might drop down to 60.

Fantastic to hear your ride went so well Rapunzel and glad your Hubby didn’t ”feel it” till close to the end :) sure sounds like he was loaded up for the ride!
Now go eat some great food :)
