GIRONA, Spain (BRAIN) — Cannondale will be the main sponsor of the 2018 Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava-Girona Bike Show, which will hold its second edition in June.
“We like the proximity to the fans; it’s where we feel most comfortable,” said Ignacio Giménez, Cannondale’s marketing manager for Spain and Portugal.
Last year more than 30,000 consumers attended the inaugural Sea Otter Europe. “An initiative like Sea Otter Europe gives Cannondale the opportunity to share experiences with the public and offers consumers the chance to try our bikes and test their technological advantages. For Cannondale, this event is a true consumer experience,” added Giménez.
Albert Balcells, the director of the Girona Bike Show, said, “That a world-renowned brand like Cannondale has made such a commitment to Sea Otter Europe is proof the festival is gaining a foothold in a highly competitive sector where brands are very cautious when it comes to promotional activities.”
The year’s event is June 8-10 and will include a larger commercial area and new additions to its lineup of sporting events and activities.
