Donnelly Sports hires Michael Johnston as European manager

DENVER, Colo. (BRAIN) — Donnelly Sports, the licenses of the Clement brand, has hired Michael Johnston as its new European manager as the company looks to restore its presence in the European market.

Donnelly Sports, which is owned and managed by Donn Kellogg, plans to offer the full Clement product line to European customers.

“I hope that I can contribute to the mission set out by Donn and am very enthusiastic and motivated about the opportunity to take the mythic Clement brand back to its rightful place in the bicycle world,” said Johnston.

Born in Scotland, Johnston worked in sales and product management in the ski industry with Salomon, which took him to Annecy, France. His career began to revolve around bicycles when Salomon purchased Mavic and he moved into a senior communications role for the cycling company.
