OGDEN, Utah (BRAIN) – Mavic has announced reduced MAP for most of its 2017 road and mountain wheels and its wheel tire systems. The change, which went into effect on May 1, was spurred by Euro to U.S. dollar exchange rates and the company’s focus on improved market positioning.
“Over the last few years the exchange rate has become more favorable,” said Mavic commercial manager Aaron Walker. “We felt it was the right timing for a course correction that allowed us to return some value to the consumer.”
Mavic is also offering retailers extra incentives when ordering multiple pairs of carbon and aluminum wheels. Dealers can learn more by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Mavic is also re-launching its line of mountain bike apparel in the U.S. The new XA line includes jerseys, shorts and bibs for men, with a causal design aesthetic and new technologies. Mavic’s new Echappee range includes jerseys, shorts and knickers for women. All items are available and shipping now.
