UCI announces 15 upcoming world championship venues

Two BMX championships awarded to Houston; Mont-Sainte-Anne to host 2019 mountain bike worlds.

DOHA, Qatar (BRAIN) — The UCI has awarded 15 world championship events in multiple disciplines to venues around the world, including the first ever UCI world championships to be held in Turkey. In North America, Houston was awarded the BMX championships for 2019 and 2020 and Mount-Sainte-Anne, Quebec, will host mountain bike worlds and masters mountain bike worlds in 2019.

The new venues were announced at the end of the first day of the UCI Management Committee meeting, which is taking place in Doha, Qatar, during the 2016 UCI Road World Championships.
