SEATTLE (BRAIN) — Dr. Stacy Sims, a co-founder of the Osmo Nutrition company, is now working with Nuun and Co. on hydration education, product innovation and clean living initiatives.
Sims, who left Osmo last year, has helped popularize a new approach to exercise hydration, with a focus on low calorie electrolyte drinks that are more easily absorbed than sugary exercise drinks. Before co-founding Osmo with two partners, she collaborated with Dr. Allen Lim, the founder of Skratch Labs, which has promoted a similar approach to hydration.
Nuun has focused on hydration as well as prioritizing “clean product, planet and sport.”
Sims is currently a senior research fellow at the University of Waikato Adams Centre of High Performance, where she is developing ongoing research and expanding the post-graduate program while continuing her work with world-class athletes.
