SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif. (BRAIN) — Interbike says its indoor e-bike test track, called The Circuit, presented by Shimano, is now filled to capacity with exhibiting brands.
“The BPSA recently stated that sell-in numbers for e-bikes through June 2016 are up 63 percent,” said Pat Hus, the vice president of Interbike. “E-bikes are a bright spot right now in our industry, and retailers have to consider the new customers that these bikes can draw to their stores. We’ll have a full house of the best brands in the industry on display and/or ready to ride in The Circuit, Electric Theatre and on the show floor – there’s no better opportunity to gain knowledge on this category than at the show.”
The Electric Theatre, powered by Bosch, also returns to Interbike with a full slate of daily content regarding e-bikes. These free sessions are all less than an hour.
Seminars will run daily from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the presentation stage near The Circuit.
Seminar examples include:
- The Rise of Electric Bikes in the U.S. – Market Trends, presented by Jonathan Weinert of Bosch and Ryan Citron of Navigant Research
- Electric Mountain Bikes and Trail Access—Progress and Challenges, presented by Morgan Lommele, PeopleForBikes
