German distributor, Sport Import, invests in Knight Composites and will distribute brand in Europe

EDEWECHT, Germany (BRAIN) — The German distributor Sport Import is investing in the two-year-old carbon wheel company Knight Composites, and will distributoe the brand throughout continental Europe.

Knight was launched at the 2014 Eurobike show. It was founded by CEO Beverly Lucas, a former Felt Bicycles and Enve executive; Jim Pfeil, the founder and original owner of Reynolds Composites; and Kevin Quan, a former Cervélo designer and the head of an independent design firm that worked on frames for clients including Accell Group, BH, Parlee and NeilPryde.

Michael Müllmann, the founder and managing director of Sport Import, said, “Sport Import is excited to become an investing partner of the Knight Composites brand.
