Rocky Mountain latest brand to recall bikes over QR/disc rotor hazard

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — Rocky Mountain is recalling 17,300 bikes in the U.S and 61,000 in Canada because the front quick release can come in contact with the disc brake rotor. Last fall, 13 bike brands announced a recall of about 1.5 million bikes because of a similar concern. Earlier in 2015, Trek recalled about 900,000 bikes because of the issue.
