Cadel takes the yellow for Australia

For the first time ever an Australian will take the Yellow jersey across the equator.

Cadel Evans put his time trial skills to full use – outpacing former yellow jersey holder Andy Schleck, along with his brother Frank Schleck.  Evans started the day 57 seconds behind leader Andy Schleck.  Taking full advantage of the schleck brothers weaker time trial skills, he ended the final competitive stage of the Tour de France with a commanding 1’34” over Andy, and 2’30” over Frank.
