More Power Number stuff

Thanks to Coach Boyd from the iSport forums for giving me this estimated heart rate to power conversion. He says you can’t really compare percentage of HRM to FTP, but zones are pretty comparable.

“Heart rate zones:
0-81% Zone 1: active recovery
82-88% Zone 2: aerobic
89-93% Zone 3: tempo
94-99% Zone 4: sub-threshold
100-102% Zone 5A super-threshold
103-105% Zone 5B: Aerobic Capacity
106%+ Zone 5C: Anaerobic Capacity

Power zones – % of FTP
0-56% Zone 1
57-76% Zone 2
77-91% Zone 3
92-106% Zone 4
107-121% Zone 5
122%+ Zone 6″
